My co-driver and I used the Kumho tires again yesterday. The afternoon runs were in 57 F weather, full sun, on asphalt.
The tires work better when warm, but the Yokohama tires were still the faster tire. The feel of the Kumho tires was less "peaky" and we could get good and controlled rotation, but not as slidey as BFGs. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Hi all, I just wanted to check if my understanding of rule 14.8.h.2 is correct, 'On arm-and-strut (MacPherson/Chapman) suspensions, the lower arms may be modified/replaced OR other methods of camber adjust-ment as allowed by Sections 14.8.B, C, or F may be used, but NOT both.'
Does this mean I cannot have both camber plates & adjustable LCAs on the front? |

You can do 14.8 B+C+F however with an adjustable offset camber bushing in the lca depending on what you mean by 'adjustable' but if you're looking at the Cusco or racer x or spl front lca then no, you'd have to ditch camber plates for those to be legal. Aside from the problem of them being spherical. |

Are lightweight crank pulleys allowed in STX? Need to replace my serpentine belt and thought I'd go ahead and do that too if it's allowed.

Yes, it is. However, I don’t ever recommend it. Not balanced and juice isn’t worth the squeeze of the inevitable engine damage it’s going to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh ok guess I'll stick with the stock unit. Is the OEM serpentine belt the best way to go? I know there are poly belts, but have never tried one before.

F -1/16”
R +1/8” I’ve done +/-1/16 front, no big difference, zero is fine. Rear I don’t like zero, wanders too much on the freeway, I like a sixteenth in, got a little more right now to try and give my codriver confidence. |

Just reg'd for my first event with the 86 at Crows Landing under DSP.
Car has from dealer (TRD Handling package): Brembos, 18-inch wheels, Sachs dampers, underbody aero panels I've since added: TRD lowering springs, sway bars, front carbon fiber strut bar, aero stabilizing cover and rear lip spoiler. Can't wait to try it out. Won't be as fast as the new GR86, but i'm just out to have fun. My last autox was Dec. 2017 with a knocking KA24E in my 240SX.
