I learned very recently that my wife hates our new car's nanny gizmos such as blind spot warning thingy.. The car thinks that something has been spotted in my blind spot and decides to swerve/brake.. So effing annoying.. turned it off..

BTW, she hates driving.. She prefers the 'blue' car..

Shouldn't blind spot monitoring be imploring you to do the opposite of changing directions or speed?

Exactly, it's a weird thing.. red lights flash up on the dash, car tries to avoid the obstacle and it brakes..
