Default Password for Pioneer Unit?
I had to boost my car yesterday since the battery died. When I got back into the car, the headunit asked for a password, but I've never set a password before.
Does anyone know what the default password is or how to reset it? It doesnt let me go past that screen to use any functions on the head unit. Its a Canadian spec BRZ if that matters... |

Maybe the NSA knows it?
I have NO idea if this will work on Canadian, but probably worth a shot. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=39071&page=8 Last edited by stock; 02-28-2014 at 01:48 PM. |

See this post from another BRZ forum.
If it isn't on a sticker in the glove compartment, etc or written down anywhere, you may need to take it to the dealer. Edit - had to throw it through goo.gl for the URL to work o.O |

Follow the instructions from Burninator's link. You can find out how to retrieve your password there. Same thing happened to me when I removed the unit. FWIW, mine is 00000. You can try that.

Default password for BRZ head unit
Thank you for this poet. Mine was "00000" as well, that's probably the default password. You saved me a world of trouble.
