A garage queen can be a good buy as long as it was at least driven once in a while. Ones that just sits there and never ever sees the road other than very short spurts can be troublesome no matter what the age of the owner. It is finding that perfect middle point really.

Ok, minor thread jacking, looking at this the other way around. Every time I mention to my friends that I'm thinking of doing some sort of modification to my FRS, they tell me to sell it and buy a faster car such as a Corvette or Cayman.
It's hard to find a car to test drive nowadays, and then I'd have to convince someone to let me drive it out of curiosity, then it's kind of hard to get a good feel for a car like that on a test drive. So, are my friends right? Are "fast" cars really any more fun, or are they just status symbols? |

Dunno. I can't afford a faster car that isn't falling apart.
Have a look through Turo if you want to rent something for a few hours.

Fast is relative however I must say the power my 911 Turbo WAS intoxicating. I actually like a lot of things better about my FRS.

Or was doing 120 when he hit the tire, and didn't want to file a police report about it.

I would repeat the old internet saying of "Have you ever seen anyone being sad while driving a Ferrari?" But then we should take a look at Charles Leclerc. |

Cheap consumables, not having to go into licence losing territory to enjoy it. I like the rawness of the FRS lol I call it my mini GT3. It’s track focused and performs well there. Faster cars for the most part are no faster in turns except for a couple at Big Willow.
Just a very playful car |
