I know this is going to bite me hard later somewhere, but it's hilarious for the time being.

Had to get the cars emissions checked to renew my plates.

Without prompting me, the tester person changed the vehicle model to 'ranger'

So for the next 2 years, Indiana officially is going to recognize a vehicle being produced that Subaru never made...

Well at least it is a very, very, low mileage Subaru Ranger. Will help maintain it's value.

Got a notice from my phone company last week.

There's a potentially long philosophical discussion around that. but I'm an old married guy that can't imagine doing it any other way.

The short answer is we "need" divorces because there are lot of people that just don't care to work out their problems or make long term commitments (better for worse type stuff).

Personally, I don't think marriage is a necessary construct, but if done right it does make a difference in a relationship. That's why I was happy when non-traditional couples were given the "right to marry". Every couple should have the right to choose that "level up" in commitment.

Well, technically we have two, but the second one is used for irregular bills. We transfer money into it each pay period for things that are an infrequent basis, such as property taxes, insurance, Christmas, etc. Our primary is in my name, the irregular bill one is in MomHawk's, and we are coowners of both. We did it that way because our credit union wouldn't let us have two with one primary owner.
