Sizing help on buying new set of wheels
Currently, i have some Enkis T6S 18x8 wrapped on some Pilot sports 4s for summer setup. Idk what the weight is on that wheel and size combo, but the car drives fine on the street and on track with that set up.
Im planing on buying Gramlights 57xtreme 18x9.5 with the pilot sports 4s. Since Gramlights wheels are wider, they should weight a bit more than my enkies. My question is would i feel the different when driving on this bigger set up? Or gramlights are 'lighter' than usual and i can get away with the weight Although the car is on stage 2+ and it feels better than stock, i don't want to make this car slower than it already is. |

Based on a few quick searches, the enkei t6s that you currently have weigh about 21.5lbs/wheel whereas the gramlights would weigh about 21lbs/wheel.
So if the tire size is going to be the same, then they should feel pretty much the same. Enkei T6S GramLights 57Xtreme |

Sizing help on buying new set of wheels
I reckon the 245/40 tyres (and associated increase in rolling diameter over stock) would make more difference to the feel of the car than the wheel change. 40 profile is far too big, that’s over 12mm gain in ride height. 245/35 is near identical to stock, 255/35 is slightly larger, but still much closer than 245/40.

If you track then yes 17x9 is the way to go and they will weigh less than the 18x9.5 wheels. Not mention "Gramlights" really aren't even all that "light weight". Look into Konig wheels their FlowFormed wheels are a good price, just a suggestion.

What do you guys think about pilot sorts 4 all season tire? Currently I swap wheel/tire set for summer and winter and been considering having just 1 set as i dont drive the car much.
Any experience with that tire on track/sprinted drives? |

If weight is your concern, try looking at WedsSport TC105X. For 18x8.5 +43, it only weighs 16.42 lbs!
