I just got off the phone with Kpower when I was having trouble with shipping the rest of my order. The coolant plug was blocking the order from going through, so I will have to buy that separate. I'll also have to buy the EP3, K20 flywheel bolts, the Hybrid racing plug and the adapters seperately. They said they bought the coolant pipe adapter from Amazon, but would be manufacturing their own soon, but he will email me the link, so I can get them now.
I asked if this has been really successful, and he laughed because it has been very successful. He says they have orders from Australia, Japan, etc. I said millions, and he said I wish it was that much, but yes, they have done really well with this rollout. I got the feeling that they did far better than they thought, and I said congratulations on the success, and that hopefully they can ramp up production to get them out. He said they should have the AC kits in within a few weeks. Partial kits may ship first, but they hope to go in order. The slow and heavy fabrication items like the headers will take a little longer.

Does anyone know if Haltech’s EBC or FF sensor are good? I’m sure they work fine for my needs. Just asking.

This is because people only speak on peak numbers, rarely on area under the curve when talking about power. Yes a rotrex supercharger makes a lot of peak power, but only at the very end of the revs. The actual usable power on a real life scenario (like the track) is a very different story.

There are other ways to explain the differences. The S2000 has double wishbone suspension, so it could have a handling advantage on bumpy tracks. Gearing could be another. Aero, tires, etc… it isn’t apples to apples enough for just a motor comparison.

I will say in other real life scenarios (like street driving) its low to mid throttle response on 93oct is in between NA 93 and NA E85 up to 3500rpm. Where a NA fa20 on E85 feels more free revving. Obviously WOT is no contest.. Having said that and getting back on topic. The overhead with a K24 either NA or FI is an order of magnitude greater. And if one is going FI they can use cheaper K24 variants, still $10K to install it but it is what it is. The CRV head flows a ton and makes a good Vtec killer setup as it turns out. I’m looking for tutorials and wiring diagrams for EBC and FF for the Haltech Elite 1500, and I don’t really see anything. Can anyone steer me to the right place?
I think both will be easily wired to DPO ports or something, but I don’t know if it is a plug, soldering point, other type of connection or precisely how to do it. Maybe it’ll be obvious when I get them.

Looking forward to people doing this swap. Those who are invested in the Gen 1 as a track only car and want to stay NA K24 swap seems to be the way to go...

I saw that the Elite has a 3 bar MAP sensor built into the ECU. You just have to run a hose to the ECU. I already have a 4bar MAP sensor, and there will be a plug for that on the harness, but just saying it is there.

Yes, that looks very peaky, 260 at 7k and a whooping 90hp at 3.5k. Even at full beans at the track, when you shift and end up in the 5.5 range you barely at 160-180. You are letting you the long ass X scale and short as fuck Y scale on the picture trick into thinking you got a fat power curve, you dont.

Ah, I was comparing power delivery to stock hence the dyno, where it clearly has plenty of power. Are you comparing to a turbo or roots SC? I missed the your post where you specify what you are comparing.
