Heater core connections, inlet and outlet
Silly/simple question, however which is the inlet and which is the outlet on the heater core? I'm at the "connect heater to LS3" stage.
Can I assume the small markings on the hoses tell the story? That is, on the left in this following picture, the yellow triangle facing towards the heater core would be the hot inlet from engine and into the heater core (connect this to the hot 5/8 outlet on LS3). Water then runs through core, then out the pipe on the right hand side in this picture with the white arrow pointing away from the heater core (and I would connect this to the "cold" side on the LS3 (the larger, 3/4 pipe)). Am I on the right track? P. S. This is my first post with an image link. If anyone has any recommendations on a better provider of image storage for forum links, it would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt |

The arrows correspond correctly to the names of the hoses:
