I agree! I haven't seen where to get the LED inserts. They weren't on the options sheet I had. But I'll definitely source them somehow.

Pretty sure I saw it on Japanparts.com. Look up BRZ ZD8 parts, and look through the Japanese brochure to find the parts number, and if you paste that in, you should be able to find it!

Most dealers seem pretty pushy on getting me in the door. Why? You don't even have a car to show me, you probably don't even have a brochure!

Man, I just want an 'Order' button on Subaru's website. This is all so stupid.

A few dealers I spoke to wanted me to come in and do all that stuff. However, I found one that gave me an out-the-door quote over e-mail, then provided me a list of all accessories and their prices, and finally provided me a final quote with accessories out-the-door. I gave him a call to provide him my credit card for the deposit and I'm awaiting the order to come in! Never had to go to the dealership, only one phone call, and was quoted MSRP except $100 dealer fee.

Some dealers will definitely go this route!

Following the above post's instructions I think I found them: https://japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=62952

Looks like approximately 75,000 Japanese yen/ $682 USD with shipping to my door.

I know we won't know for sure for a while, but what are the chances these wouldn't be too hard to install ourselves?

I was interested in these too. But I'm thinking on holding off on most accessories as sometimes aftermarket will make better looking ones. I like them, but I feel like someone might make a better looking part for that spot.

Awesome, thank you! If I can't add this to my order, I'll grab them here. I got my black mirror caps for my last BRZ here. Great site.

Just ordered mine! Went with a Limited WRB manual and no options. Question, did anyone get VIP pricing honored? Dealer wasn’t sure if they’d except it on such a new model.

Currently no VIP available. I wouldn't expect it to be available for the first model year but could be wrong.

Think I’m going to check if Costco can get me a break from MSRP on one this weekend. I’m still heavily debating the Mustang but figure if I can get an order going and not be too committed if it arrives in Nov and I don’t like it, might be best to get that wheel spinning.

costco program probably not going to go anywhere. it's not a market for deals on any new cars due to scarcity.

Yea but then you’d have to drive a mustang…

Yeah probably not, doesn’t hurt to ask since I already have the membership though.

Hahaha, I know, what would I even do with all that horsepower and a 7.5k redline on a NA V8?!? Admittedly it would be a much easier call if I didn’t live in the flatlands. Slow-but-great-handling cars are frankly a little boring anywhere within an hour of my house. Probably cheaper to make the Mustang handle than the BRZ trap 110mph, but definitely cheaper to make the BRZ feel like a 2,800lb car than the Mustang
