The standards are set by the parent company. It sould not matter what country it is actually made in if those standards are followed. Now, if the standards are not followed that means they probably aren't elsewhere as well so we are back to the country not mattering.

Our plants, be they in China, Mexico, Canada or the US will all put out exactly the same quality parts since the standards are very heavily (it is a German company after all) regardless of where you are.
