The problem is that you have an automatic. I prefer a manual since I can feel the bread better and it is much more engaging.

Auto is all the dealer had, and my auto is just as engaging in manual mode, thank you very much.

The part I liked most about the MK1 you show was you could visually check your bread for thickness.

Well it is fine if you have some sort of handicap that prevents you from flipping it yourself but otherwise you just are not a good toast enthusiast.
Oh and your wife doesn't love you unless she is willing to flip manually as well.

A little plain though. I was thinking of upgrading to the Breadbos. Don't need the performance for domestic toasting but I like the bling factor.

All the house owner w grass. Do you put grass in the trash bag before putting it in the garbage bin or dump it directly into garbage bin?

Depends if you can cover it up with enough trash bags before you put it out to the curb or not.

Garage
All gets mulched back into the lawn.
There's a separate truck that comes alternating weeks from re-cycling that picks up yard waste, if you're into waste.

I heard there is a place in TX that will convert any new automatic toaster to a manual, but you have to supply a doner manual toaster and 75 bucks.
