Apexi ECV?
Just got into a blowout fight with the other half about my car. Seeing as how removing the main problem (her) from the equation is unavailable... What are your opinions on the installation of the Apexi ECV to quiet down my exhaust? For those that haven't seen/heard it, I'm attaching a vid of the exhaust in question. It's a tomei type 60s with the tomei front pipe, Openflash header coming shortly. Thanks in advance!

Also, the revs in the video are at about 3-4k only. I live about a mile up the side of a mountain, the noise level is absolutely ridiculous coming home.

I might sell you my custom single exit Varex system.. muffler has a butter fly built in that routes gases through a chambered muffler section when closed and down the resonated straight through path when open. Varex muffler is a better idea because it does not choke off the exhaust as much when closed as the apexi.

Thanks, but I love how the 60s looks and sounds. I won't be using the ECV at WOT, mainly around the residential areas and near cops. I ordered the apexi ECV, so I guess we will see how it turns out. Will post a video when I get it installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
