Pretty sure those caused cancer, as well as being a choking hazard.

Center console. Ordered it before I left the dealership. Probably my only real complaint with the car when I bought it. Looks weird having a hole in the middle of the interior. Small bottle of hand sanitizer, a face mask, and a hard case for my sunglasses made the car look cluttered.

LED interior lights. First thing I do to any car I buy. Not sure why other than it's cheap and makes me happy.

I guess the first “real” cosmetic mod was LED fog lights from Diode Dynamics. Made a big difference. Other than that, just minor things I wouldn’t even consider mods. I do have a few more things coming in the next few months hopefully, but don’t really plan on going overboard.

Nobody plans on going overboard... but it'll happen. It always happens when you own an 86! Hahaha. Welcome to the club man!

Trunk swap with a new trunk lid for spoiler delete. Found out that the TRD duckbill does not cover up the kouki oem GT spoiler holes after I had already put in the order for the duckbill and it was en route from japan

PAINT DETAIL!
The very 1st cosmetic mod I did when I got the 2012 FRS in 2017 was detail/correct the paint. The car didn't even have wax/sealant on as the rain would sheet slowly. And when it was finally dry, I could see lots of light swirl marks considering that it came from the a big dealership that has its own its own detailing staff.
After compounding, polishing, & waxing/sealing the paint to remove the paint's imperfections, the car looked brand new again & even better than those in the lot. The paint was mirror-like: there's depth & gloss & it looked like it's candy-wrapped. IMO, a very glossy & shiny clean stock car turns more heads than a heavily-modded & unkempt one.
