Very nice install of the hood vent, I don’t suppose you have any photos of the underside and how you mounted it? Is it 3M taped?

The opening in the hood is about 3/4" smaller than the edge of the vent. The front lip of the vent has a slot running almost the full length that slides over the sheetmetal of the hood and captures it. The rear edge of the vent has two clips that pop over the edge of the sheetmetal and catch under it. Plus there is a built in screw in the center on the underside of the vent that you drill a hole for and put a nut under the sheetmetal of the hood too. Ther is a factory applied strip of double sided tape (maybe 3M?) on the entire back edge of the vent. So you put the front edge of the vent in first and push it forwards onto the front opening edge till it's on all the way. Then you push the back edge down until the clips spring into lock and the adhesive grabs. I put some weight on the back edge overnight so there was good force to make sure the adhesive had good contact and bonded well (clean any wax off the paint first!) If you go to YouTube and search "installing a gt500 hood vent" there are several videos of guys of differing skill doing this install on their hoods

It might actually be cheaper to go with some UEL headers that stay clear of the oil pan. I noticed a lot of EL headers really wrap around the oil pan and surround it. One even advertised that it gets the oil up to temp faster, which is great in a cold climate. It was 107 here yesterday, so I don't really have trouble getting the oil up to temp. I'm not even boosted and that worried me.

Harrop sells an oil cooler setup w/ducting that lays down horizontal in front of the cooling stack so you aren't cutting off flow to the ic/rad. Kraftwerks/Skunk2 Sell a smaller capacity Washer Reservoir (originally with their s/c kit.) Takes up half the space if you want to entertain the idea of fitting a core on the RH side in front of it. I'd pull the header off and find another. If not at least heat wrap it. before installation. A couple smacks with a rubber mallet ought to move the pan out of the way enough it it gives you trouble.

You still had to cut the underside didn't you? From the looks of it those underside hood supports are in the way of it fitting flush correct?
