This. I encountered a VVT bug in 2015, my tuner got in touch with EcuTek to resolve it. Cams stopped working at 4900rpm for me, that's about all I remember about it. |

that particular bug is not racerom related What happened in your car was that the tuner probably targeted 40 of intake advance but some cars can t reach it and stop at 38 or 39..and when you are on high load this can trigger the disabling of vvt for a couple of seconds I encountered this 3 times with different calid, solution is to target 38 or 39 as maximum |

It's been so long. I remember my tuner reaching out to EcuTek, but perhaps in this situation it wasn't a Racerom bug. Pulled up an old log of this issue for fun:

Actually I had a similar issue yesterday. Reflashed and took abt 4-5 minutes for the VVT to enable. I have done many tunes and this is the first time this happens.
I am NA. I am going to contact ECUTEK on this |

it's not like ecutek has access to vvt activation to modify it, so it won't be much of use asking to them, they perfectly know vvt can take a while to activate and they write it the Help files in Proecu
