Well, this morning was exciting. My 3 ager helped me install a new dimmer switch in "her" bathroom. The old one could shut off by either turning to the left or pushing the dial type wheel. She was helping me because she is the one that broke it, since she wasn't tall enough to reach it, she would jump up and give it a karate type chop till it went on or off. Those plastic things can take just so many hits.
How did she help? Well, since I don't wire things "hot" anymore, she would look at the lights and yell when they went off, as I flipped breakers in the garage. Anyone wanna guess how long it takes to change out a switch, with a 3 year old helping and asking hundreds of questions? |
