I use the RCE SS1s on my own car and prefer them to some coilovers costing twice as much. Lots and lots of travel, awesome camber plates, good quality valving and adjustment. Great on the street and with the right set up you'll be fast on the track too. Nothing bad to say about the Teins. At any price point, support and set up are incredibly important. The best coilovers are worthless without proper set up. - Andrew |

You may find the setup quite different from your old setup, but I approve of the newfound rotation! |

Not sure what to do.
I'm getting the dreaded axle click. Purchased car with 10k miles and currently has 17k No drifting/auto x, very rare spirited driving. On stock rim/wheels no click but on the 17x9 rpf1's with 245 tire, I get the click. iv replaced the axle nut twice and retorqued to 160 and still get the click on acceleration/load. Do you suggest replacing with stock used axles/purchasing new axles from surtrack or go ahead and buy the DSS axles? I'm on 100% stock suspension.

So you might have to measure how much compression travel your dampers have at your desired ride height and compare to your spring specs. You want to avoid coil bind. You're almost certainly okay in the rear, probably okay in the front. Spring rates are good for the tires btw. - Andrew |

I have a 2015 BRZ with OE suspension and I want to make it more road/pothole friendly. Would replacing with a 2018 86 suspension make it noticeably softer on road? And are they compatible on older car? Thanks in advance

I'm looking into getting the CSG Spec Flex A coilovers for track use and DD. Do these fit with the Raceseng Cascam Plates + 2" Rear Upper Mounts? I also plan on installing a whiteline bump steer and roll center correction kit. Would it be possible to achieve a
1. 2" drop 2. 2 - 3 degrees of camber front and back 3. 0.1 degrees of toe out front and 0 degrees of toe back 4. 7 degrees of caster with just the previously mentioned setup or do I need supporting suspension mods? Are there any other reasons to get supporting suspension mods (like control arms, tie rods, stuff like that)? |
