me too. when i first saw them more than a year ago i was thinking of getting them since my wheels poke very slightly. but, alas, no DGM/asphalt. didn't want to spend extra to get them painted. however, i'd like to see the black ones on a grey car to see how much contrast there is.

I would as well. $450ish shipped is pretty steep.

Haven't seen these or the rear side spoiler before. Seems like the latter would still work on a BRZ, just may not look good.

There is a comment about it being more difficult to remove the bumper due to the decreased access of the side marker.

Have looked at getting them for some time, you will need to drill holes in your fenders. They don't stick out much at all.

Hey that’s pretty good! What side skirts are those? They flow pretty well with the fender extensions and the canards. It’s so subtle. Such a nice touch. How easy/hard were the extensions to install?

> How easy/hard were the extensions to install?<

Lessons learned -

- Fix any deep paint chips on wheel arch showing rust before covering-up
- Use Google Translate app to get the gist of the Japanese instructions
- The top edge of each piece is very sharp from the mould and it's super easy for paint to flake, I'd suggest rolling the edge off with 1500 paper before painting
- Use a frame (see pic) to secure pieces for painting as they need painting all around with body colour (unless you have a car in the colour TRD supply these - red, black, white)
- The 3M tape peel-off layer will get covered in paint, this doesn't matter
- The included J clips are poor and bind up. I had to drill out each one, then run the screw in and out a few times to ensure it tightened OK
- Only expose the smallest amount of double-sided tape on each piece while offering up and securing to J-clips
- Slowly pull the double sided tape from the end with the panel fitting and push piece against body panel to secure as you go

Hi - I am about to install a set of the TRD fender extenders. On the rear wheel arch there is a rubbery (painted) strip on the underside edge, did you leave this on or remove it before the installation ? Thanks. Greg

Bumpin a old thread...I found a set locally for sale but the guy is telling me it just reuses hardware from the fender liner. Shouldn't it come with hardware?
