Best Flex Fuel Kit
Morning All --
I'm considering going Flex Fuel/E85 when I do my JRSC intall this Spring, because there will actually be a few stations with E85 where I am moving. With that said, I am looking at a few of the different kits out there (i.e., PTuning, Delicious Tuning, and Moto-East). Are there any major difference between these kits that makes one better than the other (e.g., materials used)? For some context, PTuning will be doing my install, and I will be either remote tuning/heading up to MotoEast/Xero-Limit to dial in the tune. Given that PTuning is doing the install, I'm privy to just picking up there kit when I drop the car off. Other thought is that Moto-East will be best able to tune with their kit. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! If they are all pretty much the same, just tell me to shut up and stop overthinking it! can't ptuning tune it? I think it's best to go with the company that is closest, especially since PTuning is so close. I'm going there when I eventually get E85 since they are just a few hours from me.

I bought the kit through Xero-Limit because they are an authorized JR dealer/installer, and the tune was about 50% cheaper because of it. |

I personally used Mike over at motoeast/xero limit when I had the turbo install and e85. No issues at all.

Have a Delicious Tune kit on a Harrop installation.
So far so good. You go E85 and you will develop an alcohol addiction! |

You might as well let PTuning install their kit alongside the supercharger. I believe all of the kits send the ethanol content data to the ECU through the rear O2 input, so they're all functionally the same (except Delicious/PTuning have the bluetooth module/app if you're interested in using that).

Delicious has the best kit, hands down. More features and options available.
Would recommend Zach for a tune as well; he's likely done more tune than any other tuner for this platform. |

Bringing this back alive, do all three of those kits work on the kouki platforms? Ptuning, Delicious, and Moto East? I am leaning toward the delicious tuning kit because they specifically address that the 2017+ models have compatibility issues and theirs work. If anyone could chime in it would be very helpful.

PTuning’s kit is now cleared for the 17+ models as well. They used mine as their R&D vehicle. Only issue is it is not 100% plug-and-play like it is for the 13-16’s. I’m very pleased with mine, but I’m also very local to PTuning. I’d recommend going with whatever is most accessible/or plug-play to make life easiest. |

I've read that there is a voltage difference in the 2017+ but I was hoping to not spend another $100 for the harness from moto east but looks like I'll have to.

Moto East as well! No issues whatsoever, plug and play! Get the evap harness and you're good to go. It withstands the Aussie heat very well.
At this stage I reckon, any kit form a reputable place would be as good as the other really. |

There is a voltage difference, that’s why the O2 doesn’t work properly, and the work around is tapping into the EVAP for power.
