I said 20-29k, but I only claim 7-10k. I'm also a student that "works" 25 hours per week. My money job is owning a DJ company. I make a good bit doing that and am growing a lot this year, so I'm hoping to move up tot he 30-39k bracket and get a GOOD down payment going.

haha. Started in high school working for a buddy that I met through community theatre. Did some sound stuff there, he introduced me to Djing, and I learned from the best around. I grew in the wedding scene more than the club scene, so I'm trying to move the wedding business to one company that my buddy owns and I consult for (my display pic is that company) and start the club work with the company that I co-own. I'd be rebuilding the club company from the ground up, but the name fits better (Hollywood Productions, LLC Entertainment). Its a great lesson in business and asset handling to be more precise. I also own the namesake to a third business that I plan to eventually turn into a record label once I have my masters in audio production/sound engineering.

The money mostly goes back into the business or paying bills. For a college kid, I can rack them up. haha

yep, full of polish people, indian people, chinese people, africans, basically because they get free houses and don't have to work because of state benefits. which 27% of my wages go to + 20% tax on everything i buy, tax for owning a house, tax depending on how much co2 my car emits, and £1.35 for 1 litre of fuel (thats $2.16)

we do have corners though, you guys dont have that!

I'll retract my statement of saying Southern California doesn't have some of the most exciting canyons. :P Poor wording and probably didn't think about it too well. Haha.

California has some pretty sick canyons. Except during the day people like to bring their families up in their giant SUVs and take up the whole road. Plus its a pain in the ass if they don't know the rules of a single lane road. -_- Which most don't.

I had so many near death experiences with these people on my R6. It was almost as if they wanted to kill me. I hate oblivious drivers.

I make about 40k a year at $11.00/hour. I work on average 65-70 hours a week as a CNC lathe operator.

just had a look around on streetview at these roads - ive gotta admit they look pretty nice - fairly quiet too!

i got my impression from that im doing a fly/drive holiday(vacation) to BC in canada later on in the year and the roads around Calgary, banff, edmonton, jasper etc are all arrow straight, i hope i dont get too bored :P

yesyeysyes.

Hacchi! Can we get this stuff moved to it's own thread, if you please would sir !

The Dragon is a section of road I'd like to drive when I get a car of my own again.

We've got some fairly decent back roads here too, which I stick to over the major highways. Even if the parkways are faster they're the dullest. They could be used for speedways they're so boring. The curvier the better, I get narcolepsy really easy .

We had the PACNW Supra meet here last year (maybe this year too) and we had a really nice cruise around Abottsford, Agassiz, and Chilliwack. I think a section of Hwy 7 out that way was pretty good (but a little short). Went up and down a section of mountain/hill, up and down, twisty, beside the river, no traffic. Can't remember where exactly, we got the route on the day-of for 'security' reasons and it wasn't posted online.
