I would avoid the 2013s, especially with the valve spring recall just being announced.

If a 13 is still around, it's probably safe to say the problems won't pop up. Not saying it won't but there has been plenty of time for things to go wrong.

The one at bill luke has quite a bit of scratches and other stuff in the paint it was also boggy on startup and the price they had on everywhere but their website is a lie so I went in thinking it was 17 turns out it was 18, The dealership wouldnt knock the price for everything wrong with the car that I found and it wasnt a little bit but long story short im still considering it but I had a terrible experience at their dealership the rest im in contact with and haggling about The Horne auto Brz wont come down with their price which is kindve frustrating but oh well. |

If I'm buying a BRZ again, I'd be looking for a '17+ model for exactly these reasons: Valve spring recall & defective TOB on the '13-16 models (and earlier production '17s), and better gearing on the manual tranny.
