Alright, goodish news on headers. JBA headers for the 04-06 GTO fit... Mostly. Physically mount just fine. There is spark plug interference on the passenger side. Also, the flanges kinda point towards the subframe. I think there is enough clearance for the exhaust guy to make it work. You have about 4 inches linear distance between the flange and the subframe to make something happen. Should be fine

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...2043/overview/ And this relay kit triggered by the factory wiring https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cir-33-10220 Works great. Not sure if the factory wiring can support these fans, didn’t want to chance it. |

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/spu-ix-30102029 They're the same bolt pattern as the super slim included on the FBM kit, but pull 40% more air each. I used the stock wiring, but needed to raise the fuse amp on both to the next rating, from factory 25A to 30A this was suggested by other owners who had raised the fuse and had been running it for years (they do trip the 25A fuse, but are fine on the 30A). So far so good. The relay kit @ILLSMOQ used has the advantage of already having the correct spal connectors, higher amp in line fuse and bigger wire.

I had clearance, but it would have been extra close with the stock fans. These fans are the exact same as the slim fans provided by FBM, the only difference is the taller motor.

I'm not looking to use stock but the taller fans are definitely cheaper. If I can achieve the same result for less, I'm all for it

When you say taller, you mean the fan motor height, how far the fan motor goes into the engine?

I still have room with the “taller/more depth” fans, meaning I believe there’s more rom to fit an even larger fan. I didn’t go any bigger because then I’d need a different shroud or modify this one and would definitely need the a larger fuse relay kit. I’ll try to remember and take a picture tomorrow. On the passenger side I had to modify my initial radiator hose because it was on the way.
