Not a coupe. Basically the only coupes that Lexus offers are hopelessly overweight. There's no saving them, on their current platforms.

Also, reckon this means "drift mode" will require some pedal dance? |

50,000 pounds = 65,365.05 United States Dollar at the current exchange rate. A bit more than the $63K that I predicted a while back. Of course, this is still speculation but I knew anything that BMW had a hand in would be relatively expensive and even the Toyota reps have been calling it an "expensive" car.
Orders start in October so I would think that the wraps will come off it completely next month.

As were the buyers of the last generation of Supra: Base Price of Toyota Supra Year Supra Supra Turbo 1993 $33,900 $39,900 1994 $35,800 $42,800 1995 $37,600 $47,500 1996 $38,600 $50,400 That 96 Turbo supra would cost $78,738.36 in 2017 dollars so from that point of view the $65K 2019 Supra turbo would be a bargain. Hopefully, they will actually produce the turbo 4 at a more reasonable price. I think that it would be the one that would be more attractive to me as I like minimalist and somewhat raw sports cars.

I dont think 65k is niche market anymore. There are plenty of high priced camaros, mustangs, and even corvette models running around. They sell without hassle.

The high priced domestics have 500-700 HP. Much easier to sell those than a <400hp sports car to your typical American customer that can afford that price range, the ones wearing socks inside sandals. |
