Jdm GT86 headlights on halogen FRS

Just bought a pair of gt86 headlights and was wondering if anyone has ever put them in the halogen 86s since they have different wiring, already looked at the DIY but there’s says they had 7 pins on there 8 pin connectors, but my JDM have 6 pins on a 8 pin connector. Anyone ever done this??

So I had to rewire my 86 because the spec D was only made for the frs. I would believe it is the only to do so if you wanted to put an 86 headlight into the frs. I had to cut the plug from the OEM and the spec D headlight and do some soldering to match up each wire to matching wire to make it still plug and play.
