Drove around just for the fun of it. Had a blast. Didn't crash. Today was a good day

Installed Grimmspeed Intake last Monday. Ceramic Coated JDL Catted UEL Headers and Front/Over Combo Pipe arrived on Thursday. Was scheduled for install/tuning tomorrow/Tuesday but now pushed back to next week. Looking forward to getting rid of that torque dip!

Finally got the RCE Yellow Springs installed this weekend. Was not as easy as the videos and tutorials make it out to be (at least for me), and ended up being a 2 day job.
Did the rears first, which ended up being the harder of the 2. Took all of Saturday as I don't really have much experience working on cars, and zero experience installing springs. My father-in-law helped when he could, but since he's sick he's limited in what he can do. My wife came down and helped me with the majority of it, and also one of her cousins stopped over with her aunts, and he ended up helping out as well. Did the fronts today and those were much easier. Took about 1/3rd of the time as the rears, and that included cleaning up afterward and taking the car for a drive to make sure nothing was loose or rattling around. Also installed SPC front camper bolts as I had time to pick up a set in between receiving the springs and doing the install. No reason not to since you've got the bolts out anyway. Overall, not easy for me, but I figure the best way to learn is by doing. And I'm happy that I didn't have to bring it to a shop, and was able to do the work myself (with some help!) I'll call tomorrow to schedule an alignment. Since I'm now working from home, and will only be in the office one more day, at least I won't really be driving it, and won't have to worry about chewing up the tires by putting too many miles on it before the alignment. |

Worked with @JeremyR to install my OEM TRD kouki sideskirts:
I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to paint matches by any means, but I'd have to say the paint is probably about a 95 or better percent match to my body color. Extremely pleased I went for this look.

How much does that rack weigh? Looks pretty hefty to put on the slambert, considering it could have a couple bikes added to it. I still have my slambert sitting in a box in the garage, haven't used it at all yet, but I have a Kuat 2-bike rack that's a bit slimmer than what you have there to pair with it. |

The standard Slambert is designed for a 100 lb tongue weight. So... what's the difference here in terms of how it is mounted?

I got it wet. I love the second 2x zoom lens on the newer smartphones. Makes close shots of cars much more natural-looking by eliminating the odd proportions you get when taking the same photo from a closer distance with the main wide-angle lens.
