Ah true, I was only referencing the JDM springs, haha.

Those fender extensions look great. Do they come in WRB?

Got them painted. There’s an option to receive them unpainted but primered

I am curious other people's opinions on two parts I'm considering for my car.
1. TRD Carbon Areo fins (I'm 90% sure on this one) 2. TRD Read Louvers( I'm 50% sure on this one) These seem like they would look great on a car with a wing |

I love the louvers, they are on my short list currently. Also a fan of the TRD fender garnish, I want something similar for my BRZ but I feel weird putting TRD branded parts on a "Subaru". lol

TRD rear louvers, no. It'll destroy the effectiveness of that giant wing. Louvers completely screw up the boundary layer on the rear of the car, adding turbulence and a low pressure area. The wing won't get any clean air. It'd effectively make the wing not exist aerodynamically, and create lift in the process. Double fail. I love the look of the louvers, but aerodynamically they are a huge fail. |

Good point, maybe they can be removed easily. Even if silk printed, you could buff off with compound.

Louvers only provide an aerodynamic benefit if they are open on both sides to allow air to flow out of a high pressure zone and into a low pressure zone. That's why they're used on hoods and fenders, or on rear-roof area of a mid-engine supercar. To alleviate pressure under hood or in wheel-well. If no air is actually flowing through the louver, it's just creating turbulence as air attempts to fill the voids underneath each step. The resultant lack of a functional boundary layer on the rear of the car creates a lot of useless turbulent air, which will be fed to the spoiler. |

To be clear, I'm not hating on the louvers, I think they look sick. I've seen several BRZs/FR-S with louvers in person. Love it...
But Elliot has a tS, with the giant stock wing. I feel I have a responsibility to speak up and be real about the negative aero impact louvers would have. Of course, if he doesn't care, whatever... car will still drive fine, just won't hug the road/track as well. |

So I was going back and forth on selling my OEM tS wheels. I got one solid offer and a ton of low balls haha. I decided I want to keep the wheels but powder coat them a new color. I already have dark wheels with my Weds. So I was thinking of doing a powder coat gold to tribuate back to original STI classsic WRB and gold. Or I was thinking go crazy and get them in red. I'm leaning towards gold its a more OEM look. Any thoughts?
