17x7.5 vs 18x7.5 wheel

18 is for looks, 17 for lighter feel unless you wanna dump some cold hard cash.


All in all, go 18 x7.5 so I can buy it from you few months down the road.

It is personal taste, but most people don't think the 18's look "off-road". That said, you gain virtually nothing by going to 18's. My recommendation is to keep your 17's and just put on the PS4S's. I can tell you personally that it makes a pretty noticeable difference. If you do go to 18's, recognize that you will need 225/40/R18, not 45.

Thanks for the recommendation. Yea , I know 17 is going to be better for the car, but 18's look is really tempting.
Anyway, I will see what happens.
One question, is there any reason why you are recommending 225 not 215?
Both BRZ ts and performance package come with 215 tire size.

I would definitely like to sell them even if I go to 17's as I will get new rims no matter what.

Both BRZ ts and performance package come with 215 tire size.

215's are really just fine. But the tread width on the PS4S is narrower than the Primacy HP and since I'm getting new tires, the extra inch cannot hurt. Besides, it will give me just a little bit more mpg since mine is a daily driver and the 225's have a larger circumference. Most of the really knowledgeable people here seem to recommend the 225 width in any event. There is really very little difference between the two from a performance standpoint. I just won't go any wider than 225 because it does not improve performance at all for street use.
