It took Toyota 5 years to add 5hp to the 86. At this rate we wont see 215hp until around 2027

Service and repair will be spendy as well. I do not understand why they did not take the original engine over to Yamaha for tweaks. The engine is half of the character of the Supra. And the available interior shots look like they are playing F-1 racecar becasue F-1 racecar. No thanks.

The new styling too busy and fuzzy for me. Hope the real thing has cleaner lines.
Will they keep building and selling Gen 1 FT-86 for the next three years, until the arrival of the next generation? I hope so. |
