Not many shops will work with a system they don't know, or that they cant protect their work with. What are you trying to do?

You will probably be better off reading these threads, and if you have any questions, ask @steve99 or if something is too complicated, get a custom tune from him or @Shiv@Openflash. Keep in mind that the oft comes with a number of base tunes already set for you to work from.

It's pretty straightforward. Plug into your OBDII (it's near your right knee when you're sitting down) and go. Best to buy online, as many shops will not carry it or even better try to find a used unmarried one.

There's many videos such as this one that can help you too

You can get it off of FT86SpeedFactory. I can't guarantee it will work on a 2017 auto, but what matters most is if the tune is compatible. There will be no CEL. As for the dealer detecting it, if you have it on your dash of course they well. But YMMV as some dealers dig deeper than others.

The OFT device itself is capable of reading and flashing the 2017 ecu, but the v3/v4 tunes and definitions are still being worked on. You can get the beta tunes from shiv if you email him or the openflash guys.
