Advice to clean Rear window carpet
So when it comes to cleaning the FRS I get sort of anal and there is one spot that I have tried to clean multiple times and each time I just cant really get something in there to clean it. This is with the rear window carpet that is below and around the 3rd brake light.
So far the technique I've tried is jamming my sausage finger hands against the window with a swiffer cloth or slim vacuum attachment and this does not work and I fail to really clean anything. I would greatly appreciate any advice or tools one can use to effectively clean the hairs/bits of microfiber cloth/pollen and foliage bits from that area. |

Remove rear deck, vacuum, replace. Job done.
Plenty of YouTube vids out there on how to take out the rear deck.

I deleted the stock third brake light, and added a wide super bright LED one at the top of my rear windshield. Way easier to clean in routine cleanings, but the only good way to do it is to remove it like @Mr.ac said.

I had my 10 year old grandson use his small fingers to clean that space. Best part was he works for Lego!

LOL misunderstood. I used to work with the designers to help integrate customer feedback into the next portfolio of products. Loved doing it.

If there is a speck of something back there that is hard to reach. if you try to squeeze your hand in there you will make a mess on your window which just complicates things. find a narrow stick like a yardstick and put a piece of masking tape on the end of it. carefully reach back there with it so as not to touch the window and you can dab up specks and dust. place the tape on the stick as show in this masterfully produced demonstration image. the adhesive ends up on the outside and should be as tight as you can make it.

Either way simple and messy way just remove the rear panels to get to the rear deck. Kinda a long way to get to a simple solution.
