Real great discussion on differentials. What I want to know is what does everybody use to keep the rear wheels on the ground to help keep from spinning. I'm finding every time I'm pushing it my inside rear wheel is breaking free and spinning. I have great tires and a stock suspension. The front end is tight. Just the rear wants to lift. Not thinking sway bars. Maybe stunt tower brace? Suggestions?

the diff in a twin allows for small amounts of slip then locks up when too much slip happens. So it Limits the Slip of the Differential. It's not a mechanical LSD, it is a Torque Sensing diff. Does the same thing. Ours is better for drifting because it locks up pretty quick which is what you want when you get sideways.

On the "pull the handbrake" thing for 3-wheeling.
I thought the 2012 FRS/GT86/BRZ had the e-diff function with the VSC pinging to stop the wheel spinning causing torque to transfer over to the other wheel on the ground. However I remember getting stuck as one back wheel was up against a large clump of grass and it alone spun up. It definitely says in the 2017 (UK spec) car that e-diff is available in FULL and TRACK modes with TC on or OFF, but disabled with VSC/TR fully off (non-pedal dance mode). This suggests the 2017 has both ATB and ABS diff function combined. Does that make it semantically superior to either Clutch or ATB alone?
