Please Help, Too Many Choices

Okay so I Just purchased Mpss's For the stock size on my brz. they sound like a semi truck is riding next to me 24/7 and in rain its so/so. I do not track this car and probably never will and will always be stock power. can someone recommend a tire for me to get this exchanged with. I am not that worried about tread life but I want good rain performance (rains quite a a lot in nc) and not sound like jeep wheels I searched the forums multiple times but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so apologies about another thread being added. Thanks!

Very strange, the MPSS are rated highly for noise comfort and for wet grip, more so than the tires they replaced (assuming Primacy HP). That said, mine lost all grip at less than two years old for no good reason, so I'm not a fan...

You can go to Tire Rack's website to see how tires compare for wet grip, noise, etc. For your usage might as well get UHP all-seasons on the off chance you might have to drive in snow/ice/cold:

So would the same Michelins super sports but a/s all season work better for under 45 degree weather. sometimes in the morning its in the low 30's December and January just gotta be able to go to work. maybe im asking to much for a tire and they were the stock Michelins prior which weren't half bad just when they started wearing you could feel everything the ride seems better with the mpss but the tires noise is off the charts can turn my stereo up to 30 still hear it that and my ac making weird noises might just lose it lol

You can try the BF Goodrich g-Force Comp A/S or the Sport Comp. Some people here have them and they like them.

Very odd, I live in NC too and have had three sets of PSS with no such issues... I even have bad Misophonia too.
I'd try the Michelin Pilot sport AS3+ instead. The BFG's have been noisier in my experience.

You might consider getting your car checked for alignment...if you're way out of whack it can cause the tires to make more noise than they would normally, especially it they have a few miles on them with a bad setup.
