I think it's fine as long as it has a turbo.

They have a STI body kit, so it at least makes sense, cosmeticwise.

When I had this on my first BRZ I didn't screw it in. Works fine since it snaps into place anyways. Plus there is a piece of foam that sits behind where the screws go which you should have to push back to slide the badge on the pegs. On my series blue I put it on without screws as well. When I did my horns I put the screws in. Has a little wiggle room with and without the screws so....

I'm wondering why the tapping screws are extremely difficult to secure and screw in place...

Can anyone confirm if this badge fits on a 2017 BRZ? Just got my badge today, went to install it and I'm finding that there aren't 2 screws in the grille holding an air guide like Kayshart posted. There's only one of those plastic posts for the screws to thread into (and no screws already installed in that area). Also, the plastic tongue on the back side of the grille that looks like it's supposed to slot into the bracket isn't spaced properly from the one hole I do have.

I put an STI front badge from a WRX-STI on mine. Put it around one of the vertical pillars on the bottom grill thing. Looks great and added at least 5HP!
