Has anyone used a car cover to protect against hail?

I have had my car hit by hail twice. The first time was $9600 damage, and the second time $11,000. Miraculously pdr has fixed it both times and the car looks new, except for a few spots where the paint was cracked by the hail.

Anyway, I do not want to go through that again this summer. I want to try something like this Evolution® Block-It Car Covers. Has anyone tried something like this?

I know it won't stop big hail, but even if something can reduce the damage from small hail I would be happy. The next step is to tape these on the car

I figured. The hail is insane there!

What trippinbilles posted looks like a decent option.

I would buy that, but I don't know how the antenna will work with it. It seems like it might puncture when it's inflated.

Well now, KevinBRZ, my friend Bubba, suggests you take your blown up floats, tape them to the top of the car Then cover the car with an inexpensive car cover.

Get an iphone app that warns about weather/hail and a nice Turkish rug that you can throw over the car when needed.

https://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php

Put the trunk mat over the hood, floor mats on the roof, and my coleman sleeping pad over the trunk area.

But typically if my accuweather app is warning me of hail I get the hell out and park under a bank teller window, church driveway awning, parking garage, and chill in my car for an hour.
