@Clipdat:
Don't worry, you don't have to walk on eggshells around me
I choose 225's because I wanted to stretch the tires. I was about to order 215's, but thought better of it. And laying the wheels flat with 225's, I realize it was the rigth decision, as no part of the tire hits the ground (barely). So I think I hit the sweetspot.
I aloso considered 225/35/18, but landed on the current dimmensions beacuse in my opinion they give a nice look, the right balance of traction vs slip, and are widely used, so the price is nice as well.

@Teclis:
Thanks bro You know, the one that waits for something good and all that ^^,
Now that the studded tires are gone, I'm there at all the Norwegian 86 meets I can manage
Can't wait to meet up with all my local brothers

@Vin:
Thanks. And BTW:
I'm attending an event called EuroRally in late May, driving 2500km. It ends in Hamburg, Germany.
You wouldn't happen to live close to the border? We could meet up for a few hours

That looks like a great trip, but Hamburg is still a 4+ hour drive for me (I live in the center of the Netherlands).

It's been a while since I updated you guys, so here we go...

Until the summer tires were on the car, I didn't drive it much. But I drove it evry chance I got after, but... Of course something had to be wrong

During upshift from 3rd to 4th gear on high revs, I could hear and feel the gears grind

Handed the car over to my local dealership on monday this week, and it stayed there in the air for four days. The verdict was damage to the 4th gear and sync rings

But yesterday I got it back, not costing me anything! Toyota Norway replaced all damaged parts on factory warranty

I'm so pleased right now Don't think I'll bother with other manufacturers ever again

Just to put a small damper on the joy, mother nature threw snow at us today. So I had to take the other car to work

Well here it is lowered on KWv3's

45mm (1,77") lowered both front and back.

In the last image, the ground is not even... Don't mind the gap ^^,

Completed the install

Note that I'm in Norway (Europe), so I rewired the 4th break light (triangle) as a fog ligth. Because we are required by law to have rear fogs...

The V is running light and the reverse light is still reverse ^^,

Hi Roth! I'll reply in english because this is an international board

No, I'm located in Østfold.
The car was bought unseen in Tromsø and transported by train to Drammen where I picked it up and drove it the rest of the way home.

Here's a few more recent photos BTW
