I must not mind it too much - I haven't cut it out... LOL. And you're right - it's a minor issue and does keep it cleaner in there.

does anyone know if Diode Dynamics still offers the weathertech replacement for BRZ? I can't get any search results returned on their site!

I'm starting to have this issue with my driver floor mat also. It's wearing a divot that my ankle keeps sliding into when I have my foot on the go pedal a certain way. I scoped out the new '17 86 floor mats at our Toyota branch and it looks like they reinforced the center section somewhat
However I was quoted almost $140.00...for just the driver's mat Has anyone seen the floor mats that come with the '17 BRZ? I'm curious if they made a similar change. I'd go look at my dealership but they haven't been allocated any BRZs for a couple years now...no one buys them around here |

I'd get weathertech's for front mats & call it done for that kind of money. Should last longer and is better keeping dirt/water. Maybe just less comfortable for those that drive barefoot.
