Nice build! almost my exact build except I went small at start with a gtx 2867. Same jdl kit and im built too check out my build on my ig @BADAZZBRZ ... I could definitely go up a turbo size and push 500-600s on my engine but still up in the air what I will do for transmission?... also with that much power you should go ahead and do the rear axels too.

I have so many questions....
1) What compression did you end up going with? And why are you targeting that? 2) Did you crack open the block or are you leaving the bottom end alone? 3) Over the years and miles, how off was the valve lash? 4) 2017 aluminum plenum planning on going on before you finish up? Btw very sexy radiator, I was just talking to the wife yesterday about getting 1 while i do the motor aswell. This threads going to hurt my wallet!

I went with CP 9.0 cr, decided to go that low because we don't have a set gas octane here, so just playing it safe in that aspect. the block is built with Pauter Rods, CP Pistons, Kings Bearings, ARP case bolts (and ARP head bolts). well, because we changed the valves, the clearance was off on 13 of them ,so had to order some shims to rectify. no, plenum will be going on when I decide to go e85 after the car is up and running properly again. prefer to have Bill flown in to do the race fuel, so just gonna settle with the F&G for the time being until then

Knock on wood... im still on my first transmission but im not out launching it often or pulling off hard in first and second.. if you don't beat it you should be good. you can get a used one fo 600-800$ so its not that costly to fix but just a pain in the ass.. especially if your like one guy I know making 500 on his 3rd transmission lol

For alot of us street guys aiming for 500hp and not seeing the track should help. Im personally going to allow tire spin to help from tomuch force on the drive train. The guys with awesome grip seem to be eating transmissions and what not.

on e85 I should be 450 range at 18psi (haven't been dynod yet) made just short of 400 a few tunes back on 93 at 13-15psi. I haven't tracked mine yet either but wheel spin would definitely help. im running hankook ventus v12 285s in the rear and I break those pretty easy. back when I had fresh pss I wad hooking barely chirping first and second

this is very true, but I doubt to much traction will cause the forth gear issue gl

Seeing we dont have a vendor that can provide a bell housing, driveshaft for I dont know a T56 tranmission. I think ill just wait. The sad part is members have a t56 and it holds up very, very well. But no one wants to reproduce this. The v160 option is not a good option for anyone wanting to keep the fa20 engine. Its just way tomuch money. Why the vendors clearly ignore this fact sickens me. One vendor almost had it but put a t5 transmission kit together instead. So close but half the torque rating and a 5 speed. Call me crazy, I wish i had the tools to make it myself and sign up to be a vendor on the forums.
