Not gonna hate but.....

AWWWW, Who am I kidding? I'm gonna hate. I'm a hater.

I don't like it. As somebody on NASIOC said, "It looks like a fossilized poop"

But if it comes off then I guess it's coo'.

How "temporary" is it? Does it need special product to remove or can you power wash it off?

Wait, that stuff exists in other colors? I feel like the black looks kinda cheap, but if you can get that effect with gray it could look quite exotic.

I sprayed plastidip on my wheels about 3 weeks ago and it shows no sign of wear. It's good for protection and adding some life to some parts (wheels & decals IMO). The entire car being dipped is really not my cup of tea. The FR-S/BRZ just looks too amazing shining in the sun.

The one thing you have to understand it it's a fairly cheap car and some people who have more money then sense are going to do some really stupid things to it.

You just make a tear in the plastidip and it will peel right off. It's safe and durable. After a few months it may start tearing but its very very cheap to buy. It about $6 a can.

Kind of bringing this back from the dead:

According to the FAQ on Dipyourcar.com, Plastidip is flammable (Performix' website says this too and they manufacture the product).

So my question is this, why would I want to cover my car in a flammable coating? Especially my wheels!

I guess the question is how flammable. Performix also makes a flexible acrylic coating like Plastidip called HCF but HCF is non-flammable. I'm making inquires about t his.
