I hope that he does. Usually in my line of work we see that they may have insurance buts expired and or other issues. But I am hoping in your case he does have valid insurance so you may get this repaired. Let me know if you have any insurance related questions, be happy to help.

My estimate to repair my door was $625. PDR+2hrs labor+short sanding. Add in paint and it hit $800+.

Replacing your door and fixing front fender+door would be $3000 minimum imo.

There's no damage to my front fender. Will that still need to be blended

Just make sure repair people leave door and fender flush. Else, you'll get annoying wind noise.

I'd be super picky about it. It's not 100k car, but it's my car.

Well just talked to my insurance and they told me just bring in the police report. They'll do everything to have the other guys insurance pay for damages. I'll ask the body shop for new door
