So from that log it looks like they saw 152-161 IAT. I didn't see any record on there of the outdoor ambient temps.
Oil temps are crazy low for on track. I believe the factory sensor is measuring oil temps post cooler. At least it seems that way on my car.

I've been up and running with this kit for a week or so now. Stock 95ml pulley, stock exhaust. Extreme HD clutch.
My initial impression is it's amazing and worth every penny. There is power to spare absolutely everywhere. But I havnt driven an FI 86/brz before so it was always going to feel fast. I'm still surprised though. In terms of pure acceleration it (subjectively) feels at least as fast as the Cayman R I've driven. (But I'm biased I know). Next mods? Probably grippier tyres and a set of brake pads. After that..... The shop that tuned and fitted it (Abbey Motorsport) is going to be trialing the ACE 4-1 anaconda soon on their car - if there were to be decent gains at the top end I'd consider it in combo with a high flow cat. Or I may just leave it completely alone (if the Mrs has anything to do with it) Only slight disappointments...... Slightly lower than expected dyno (just under 240 wheel on 98octane - but was 40 degrees in the dyno room - hottest day of the year in uk. Typical!). And the back window vibrates a bit when you put torque down at really low revs. Otherwise couldn't be happier so far. I also seem to be getting better motorway mpg than before according to the car??!! - has anyone else experienced this or am I imagining it? |

With the larger 700 cc port injectors, stock pulley, PTuning header, full exhaust, and other little things with 93 AKI after the MotoEast tuning, the MPG on the highway is equal to the stock car. This is with grippy 245/17/45 tires. The rattling is likely the back splash panel where the rear brake light sits. Definitely had it rattling since installing an exhaust and header. You might find a few fixes on the forums here for the rattle. |

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the long delay between posts. Finally we've had a need to get the front bar off the race car, and i have been able to get some shots of the Harrop Oil Cooler Kit Installed. If you have any Questions please feel free to make contact and discuss with us at Harrop or chat with Neal at The RacersLine, or Mike at Moto-East. |

Having done a bit more research, it seems there are some potential pitfalls with cheap headers. I'll wait and see if there are decent gains with the ACE 4-1 on a harrop setup (decent being 25-35 when combined with a high flow cat) and maybe treat myself.

I have not been back on the dyno since but did notice a considerable improvement in performance as I already had a header back exhaust |
