-Carbon fiber is actually a great insulator for heat. The shape of the cutout would be difficult to do with metal as well, this is perfect for composites.

-They are sold separately, not as a pair.

Pictures below. The neat thing about our cover is that it doesn't use gel coat, so no yellowing over time. It is also 100% carbon throughout, no fiberglass. It is polished high temp carbon at that; which is meant specifically for this type of hot environment. It looks high-end motorsports in person.

Thanks,
Eric
Very nice.

Will this fit all exhaust systems. I an asking about my Perrin with 4 in tips.

It adds 1mm thickness (0.040") to the exhaust cutout area. You shouldn't have an issue unless the exhaust is already touching the bumper, and if you're at that point, you probably already have an extremely melted bumper.

Thanks,
Eric

Our install manuals are always online under the support tab on our website

Install Manual Page

Carbon Exhaust Cover Install Manual

Quick answer is double sided foam by 3M. It's stout stuff from my testing *when installed correctly*, which is not difficult when following the above install manual.

Thanks,
Eric

Just you . In my eyes it would change looks from blending-in almost stock-ish looks to afterthought hack.

You mean a modification? Aftermarket wheels look like an afterthought too side stock wheels almost always look bad and even when they don't the style just isn't the same as the aftermarket

@VeloxEric, one last question, if the bumper has already burnt parts, will there be any mounting issues? mine seems pretty light only but need to make sure before i make a purchase.. will try to take a pic for you to see the amount of damage if you want or need it

It wouldn't be terrible to drill your own holes in the carbon. Just have to be careful and start small.

As long as you clean the burnt parts and make the surface uniform with the rest of the bumper, I'd say you'll be alright. I'd sand it till it was flat-ish again and then go along with the install per the manual. Dremel, orbital sander, hand sanding would all take care of this I believe.

Thanks,
Eric

Added the Velox Carbon Exhaust covers today. These looks fantastic. The fit is spot on and they really add to the look of my HKS exhaust. Great job Eric and everyone else at Velox for coming up with these.
