& yeah... last epi of Re:Zero was nuts, but TBH I'm glad it was crazy and serious. I was kinda getting bored of that series and needed lil bit more spice... well shit, they added more than lil bit, they added Ghost Pepper level spice in the last epi. Can't wait to see what they gonna do. |

Guys i just started watching anime again. So far have watched and enjoyed s01 of one punch man and s01 of my hero academia (sorry forgot japanese name) and the 2 episodes of mob psycho 100 I watched. I also watched samurai flamenco and am unsure whether I think its great or garbage. Anyone have anything that falls within those type of anime to suggest? Maybe a few go to staples also (i seem to enjoy the action comedy variations more than the extremely dark and serious tones but am willing to give anything a shot

So I started RE:Zero and caught up except for the current episode, being episode 16. Episode 15 was... an unexpected turn of events. No wonder I started hearing about it after that.

Yeah that was one of my favorite parts in One punch man. Genos was like "What is this bs he is spouting?" Loved it when he punched the ninja dude in the nuts. Was also funny when Genos was like take me serious and then damn near pissed his pants. Mob 100 is pretty good too episode 2 ended perfectly. On another note can't wait for more Re:Zero those last three or so episodes really amped things up majorly. |

Gintama have a lot of episodes and a lot of arcs. Most of arcs are good, so I would keep watching it. I enjoyed Jyubei's arc... Specially bathroom episodes. Oh god... Even thinking bout it, makes me laugh.

Anyhoo, this season's anime line up is pretty good. Liking ReLife though I read plenty of complaints of stuff being left out. Mob Psycho 100 is a hoot. 91 days is my fav so far. |

As for new series, hated first epi of Orange, so gave up on that series. Servamp was same was well. Watching Taboo Tattoo. Good fighting, old concept story, but still good to keep me watching. Eva is classic. After a while, it gets confusing... but it's good. I feel that, Eva is a bit over-hyped series, just like Naruto, Bleach, Sailor Moon & One Peace... but still good none-the-less. |

Since I was a backer on Kickstarter I just saw "Under the Dog" - was a little different than I was expecting. While good, it really would have benefitted from being a movie length feature. I guess the closest comparison to it would be "A Farewell to Weapons". Though having a shorter run length, AFtW does more with its runtime, and doesn't feel as rushed as UtD and the story is more cohesive. It's a complete unit of a story, though it wouldn't have hurt it to be longer with some backstory to the team. In "Under the Dog" there is just a little too much going on for what it's trying to do, you are left with a lot of wanting to know more information on what is going on and unsure exactly what you just saw. I will say the explosions were like a combination of a Michael Bay production, Redline, Evangelion Rebirth Movies, and AFtW. Not totaly dissapointed with Under the Dog, but definitely less enthused than before I saw it.
Well waiting 2 years for a 20'ish minute Pilot episode may have something to do with it, plus one of the main characters is my avatar here. I really like the concept trailer slightly more, seemed more cohesive: Just didn't quite live up to what I thought it would/could be.
