Subaru must have market research indicating that any loss of sales that will result from dropping the AT from the Premium trim will be more than offset by the increased profits resulting from all AT buyers being forced to move up to the Limited. |

Yeah, I don't like that. I wish they would allow all options on all trim levels.
Anyone know if you can add the middle Snow/Sport switch to an MT's center blank spot? I know it won't work, but I despise the look of an empty spot. It makes the car look incomplete. I even went as far as to add the cold weather package to my Outback when I bought it, even though I live in California, because I couldn't handle the blank filler spaces for the wiper/mirror defrosters and seat heaters. I think they dropped the Automatic option from the Premium trim in '14 or '15.

Subaru's micro-site is live. I think you've already seen most of the info, but it's cool looking, lol.

I really hope we can get the TCS and track mode retro fitted or flashed into the <2017 models.
I've only had my car for a few months, but right now I'm always putting everything off (TSC and ESC) unless it's raining. It would be nice to have a track mode that is more gradual. I can't afford to lose $6-7k aud on a a model upgrade, and I actually like having a blank steering wheel with no buttons. |

Nope.
TCS and ESC aren't bad things - and from what I've read, the settings for "track" in the 2017 model are great! The problem with <2017 models is that it's too harsh. It only takes 5s to do the pedal dance - I don't need to spend $150USD to do that. |

There were some discussions in the past if our car needs stiffer or lighter wheels. Enkei had a racing dedicated wheel which was going in the stiffer direction. Now I find a review saying the BRZ 2017 has stiffer alloy wheels. Details here:
