I haven't logged on Costco, only on Esso 91(which is a-ok). I don't often run Costco gas, only because my membership ran out. Since I keep the car at my parents place while I'm on the road for work, my dad sometimes drives the car and always fills it up with Costco gas.

I did ask him to talk with the attendants at the gas bar, and they said that they get their gas from various sources. Being somewhat in the industry, I'm willing to bet they just send their trucks to whatever tank farms are around and buy in bulk from them. So, the options are Shell, Esso and... Can't recall who else has ethanol free gas.

I'll see if he'll drive my car a bunch before the next time I'm home, and get at least 40L in the tank. That way I can do a log and see what's up.

For what it's worth, my car has had a 91 tune for about 90% of the time I've had my OFT and I haven't had any issues with knock.

So you could still have a shit ton of knock. But I guess as long as your butt dyno says your car is "better", that's all that matters, right?

I don't recall exactly what rpm the knock was happening at, however it was much better using ultra 94. I switched to uel stage 2 in short order so didn't do too much logging with stage 1. I posted a few logs in another thread.

Try rush hour traffic with the AC on, pretty much a guarantee to get knock low down in the RPM range on 91 octane regardless of tune (unless it's been modified to be more conservative).

I used to run Costco 91 until the lines got too long.

It gave me the same results as Shell V-Power 91 - no crickets, IAM fluctuations, slight knock at low-mid RPMs.

The beauty of my car now only being a one weekend per month toy for me . Hell, even when pops drives it, it's an 18 minute back road blast for him, and he bitches more about speed bumps than traffic haha

That's basically what I found on any brand of 91 on both a 91 tune and the stock ROM.

I feel like I had the same problem with my 2015 many moons ago. Something about logging a couple different parameters maybe? I think @steve99 can answer that one.

Yes something goes weird in log in a couple of spots maybe loose connection to obd port or something.

yes iam is less than 1 in that guys log due knock hes got the usual knock at low rpm plus some pretty serious knock arround 6000 rpm that needs work. It looks like crappy fuel if that the best arround id suggest he mod his tune, might be due to residual 91 in tank
