Microfiber clothes with leaves and grass
Long story short, any tips for grease, grass, foreign objects, lint and little rocks stuck in it?
I wash them in warm/hot water and dry in low, and hand pick out foreign objects when I can but it seems, that there are a large number of deposits I can't get out. Any tips or should I just buy another Costco pack of microfibers? Unrelated fact, dad uses them outside of car wash, and sometimes air dries them and don't inform me. He has microfiber for his work also so it gets mixed in sometimes.

Check this company out for microfibers. Good quality, good prices and if I recall correctly, when you order on a Friday, you get a freebie (if they are still doing it) http://www.theragcompany.com
Little rocks stuck in them? Unless you're only going to use the rags for wiping up oil, throw them in the trash.......... |

Yeah, just buy new ones and keep them away from your dad.
Make sure label them and might as well sit down with your dad and tell them these are for car washing only. Then buy your dad some box of rags so he won't use your towels.

Costco ones are fine for interiors, wheels, tires, stuff that isn't going to mar/scuff/scratch as easily. Otherwise yeah get you some good quality ones from TRC.

Yeh it's tough to get that stuff out. I just pick out what i can and if it seems too much work that cloth becomes a work rag. It's worth it in the long run to just be careful and get another pack of towels.

Dads and microfibers don't mix. I swear my Girlfriends dad will be like cleaning the kitchen counter with a microfiber, cleaning up dog shit, I'll toss mine in the wash and hell just toss them in a bucket without drying them >_<.

Cool, so microfiber clothes should be treated like Clay bars.
Wash warm, and dry cool. Thanks everyone, I'll start finding decent microfiber clothes. Any other suggestions and links?

Check out this page http://www.blackfirewax.com/towels---chamois.html
I just received an order from them (I'm also trying the Blackfire wax and QD), but the Chinchilla and the Edgeless are very soft and thick. |
