Do it. My wife and I came from the '13 BRZ/'13 WRX combo before I traded the BRZ for the STi. At the end of the day, I think I learned a hard lesson in terms of my own personal needs and wants out of my vehicle. As much as I thought the STi would be practical, I rather have a lightweight vehicle that was pretty quick in itself. HP is just a number to me and it doesn't ever get utilized to the fullest anyways.

So with that being said, I think the refresh will please those who could care less for the power and want to enjoy a simple sports car with some minor, but aesthetically pleasing update.

Ha ha I likely will be around the time the rumoured second gen comes out. By that time I'll be in a financial situation where it will make a lot more sense. That's if I don't go for the R8 though. I'll have to wait and see how things pan out lol.

Y'all think you're so cool with your rocky mountains, beautiful weather and coastal scenery, lack of road salt rust and all that...

Well we have the only Canadian baseball and basketball teams!
(I tried... I really did)

But a 30yr old crapshack house in vancouver will cost you 1.5+ million and paying rent will make you poor.

You're either trolling or straight up lying... You also missed the point about the Japanese improving the area under the curve. It's the whole reason sequential turbos were used...

But whatever, you apparently can't keep your facts or points straight so I don't know why I even bother replying.

Kinda wanna drive up to see that yellow car in a week or two ....wonder if it would be worth the drive and hassle to take off work. Im thinking it's basically Subaru series yellow maybe it Will have a big surprise like it has the performance package already on it and if you pay the premium you can have it earlier than the limited with a performance package. Oh also it's yellow

Because 200 hp was great back in the late 90s. Today it's not enough. There's very little about this car that makes it stand out. And I get that 200 hp is "enough" for some spirited driving, and that yay its fun to wring out that engine for all it's worth on public roads without breaking the law in great excess. But it's a pretty big let down when you attend a track event and put your foot down on a long straight away. Also pretty annoying when your AC compressor is noticeably robbing power from the engine during the hot summer months.

Another 30-50 hp and it would have been "the" sports car of the decade.

More to the point I think, the BRZ's handling and braking power has never been an issue - so why is Subaru now giving us upgrades to both? Talk about wasted resources. They're doing that for us b/c they're lazy and don't GAF
