Can I get this flush?
Hey everyone, I am looking to get my front wheels flush with the body. I want to know if it's possible with this wheel, and if so, what I need to do it.
Currently: - stock struts - eibach black lowering springs (not prokit... The other one with less drop) - wheels are 9.5"x18 with a +38 offset I believe Camber is currently around -1 degrees. Can I even get a flush look with these wheels? I am worried that it could contact the fender if I bottom out. I plan to buy the ST coilovers so that I can set it up with a more negative camber setting which should help with the poke. Will the front suspension suck the wheels in the more I lower it (similar to what the rear suspension does when you go low)? Thanks for advice and help! Eric ![]() |

If just barely tucking the top of the rim under the fender is your definition of flush, then yea I guess you could get that with coils.
In general 9.5 up front is not gonna be flush and kind of meh unless you are looking for stance. Good luck and post your results.

Here is a good example. 9.5 +40
The top can be considered "flush" with the lowered and camber but you see the rest of the wheel still sticks out. If that is the OP goal, then yes it can be "flush" ![]()

If you go with camber bolts to bring it in more flush, you might end up rubbing the tire to the stock strut perch. Once you go to the ST coilovers you will probably be able to add enough camber to bring it back into flush.

Agree with @ZionsWrath that the term "flush" is thrown around a lot... and ironic that it now usually means poke with camber lol

Thank you everyone who posted! Tons of help! So it sounds like more negative camber or different wheel offset are my only options to get "flush" (which for me, poke with negative camber is fine).
Also, yes I do plan to get some coilovers with top mount camber plates like the ST XTA or if I go cheap and get the XT, I will pair it up with the Raceseng CasCam top mounts. With these wheels, I am about 1/4 of an inch from contacting the OEM spring perches. So currently maxed out at the natural negative camber (about -1 for my ride height). Now a little off topic.. maybe someone can chime in with advice for additional suspension parts I should consider. I noticed some coilover sets include some adjustable toe arms. Is this a must have item or just makes the car easier to align? |
