Here is a question does anyone know the answer, I'm very curious.

Can DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) Police pull you over? Their cars have lights and sirens.

Had similar thoughts just yesterday, passing a "Pentagon Police" cruiser at 6-10 above the limit about 2 miles from the Pentagon... Can he? (He didn't, but obviously it proves nothing)

Look up: TR-205 - REQUEST FOR TRIAL BY WRITTEN DECLARATION

I've had my CA tickets dismissed through the mail. I assisted my brother and friend as well. All tickets were dismissed. I haven't received a ticket in years since getting an Escort 9500ix, then the Max360.

In Texas, you don't actually have to be speeding to get a ticket. Troopers can and will pull you over when you're not speeding and give you bogus tickets without actually clocking you with radar or laser. The courts in this armpit state consider law enforcement officers to be "speed experts" who are able to judge your speed just by looking at you. So it doesn't really matter whether you were going under the speed limit; if the cop says you were speeding, you were speeding.

Best method to avoid getting pulled over is don't stop for the cops. I do it all the time.

Forget who but somebody on here got caught coming into Ontario with a detector. They handed him tools, made him rip it out on the side of the road, took it and fined him.
