O2 Sensor ?

I was about to install my new P&L headers and broke the oxygen sensor (the one on the second bank) when I was getting it out of the stock headers.

Can I use any 4wires oxygen sensor ?

My bank 1 #2 O2 sensor was cross threaded at the factory, I finally got it out but the threads are destroyed. The Subaru part # is 22690AB000 and the lowest price I found was $125 online. I emailed Denso for a cross reference part # and they said there is none yet. Must be some deal between Denso and oems to let the oems gouge the public for few years before they can buy the same part directly from Denso for 1/2 price.

I wish I knew which, if any, 4-wire O2 sensors could be substituted but I do not. Very interested to know the answer though.

BTW, if you have or get a ECUtek tune the tuner can turn off that sensor so you won't get the CEL and lose your cruise control, which I'm missing a lot.

I just installed my P&L header and I too discovered that Subaru cross-threaded my downstream O2 sensor. WTF?

I bought another of the factory sensors...had to wait three days to get it.

I'm right there with you guys. Now I'm trying to find the primary one though. #22641. I found a bunch online with that number but I haven't been able to find out if any fit the BRZ. They all say they are compatible with everything up until 2012 2.5L engines. Anyone know if the ones from the 2012 model Subaru's will work with our setup?

These are the part numbers you need:

And these are the lowest prices I could find on the Upstream:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/391367277139

And the downstream:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281940911886

$204.71 for both so it's not cheap but I'm guessing if it's that badly cross threaded, only go for the OEM denso stuff
