Yeah @ansibe I actually chose XP8's because I didn't think the BRZ needed THAT much brake (especially at my entry skill level). @CSG Mike I take it you generally agree with Ansibe about the scrubbing?

I think you made a great choice.

I'd recommend a set of rotors and pads for each of the three: street, autox, track. So keep your stock for street, buy a set of rotors for autox with some Carbotech AX6, and buy a set of rotors for track with some XP10 front XP8 rear. If you can afford buying 2 sets of pads and rotors I'd do it. I personally don't do competitive autox, so I run my stock on the street and autox, but I now have a second set of rotors and track pads. It's not hard to swap pads and rotors.

So long story short, I've decided to resurface my stock rotors in order to run XP8's (for HPDE, AutoX, and possibly mountain runs) and 1521's for street driving. My real question now is which should I bed in initially? I know they're compatible compounds but there must be some benefit to bedding one in first vs the other... Right?
Also @CSG Mike you guys carry 1521's for the twins, right?

XP8; it's the harder one to bed. 1521 can be bedded with just casual street driving.

Yes, we carry both.
